Perfecting Faith Church is a diverse body of believers that listens to the Word, learns the Word and lives the Word. We believe the Word to be the truth of God. It is our mandate and privilege to share the good news of Jesus Christ locally and globally.
Tenets of Faith
The Holy Bible is the Word of God; It is:
Absolute in its authority – Scripture: Psalm 68:11
Complete in its revelation – Scripture: II Peter 1:20-21
One God, existing in three persons (Trinity or Tri-Unity):
The Father – Scripture: Genesis 1:1-3
The Word/Son, Jesus – Scripture: John 1:1,14
The Holy Ghost – Scripture: John 14:15-17; John 15:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 5:7
God in the flesh – Scripture: Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23
The Lamb that takes away the sin of the world – Scripture: John 1:29
Salvation of mankind through confessed faith:
Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus – Scripture: Romans 10:9-10
Believe in your heart that God has resurrected Him – Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
Live according to the confession of your faith – Scripture: 1 Timothy 4:12-16
Baptism of the Holy Ghost is:

Accompanied initially by the evidence of unknown tongues

Water Baptism is a rite for the church. It is an outward expression of an inward experience, and it:
Shows that the believer is dead to sin – Scripture: I Peter 3:21
Shows that the old man has been buried with Christ – Scripture: Romans 6:3-4
Shows that he has been resurrected in the newness of life with Christ – Scripture: Acts 2:38
Feet washing and Holy Communion are rites of the church and:
Are a necessity of the believer – Scripture: John 13:14-15
Shows that you believe in and walk according to his teaching – Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11:27-28
Show that you partake in these rites to memorialize His death – Scripture: Luke 22:19
Church fellowship is:
Essential for spiritual growth – Scripture: 1 Peter 2:1-2
A command of God to corporately worship together – Scripture: Hebrews 10:25
A place that is ordained by God to increase knowledge and strength – Scripture: Acts 20:27-28
The great commission of the church is to:
Go into all the world and teach the gospel to every creature – Scripture: Matthew 28:18-20
Make disciples of believers – Scripture: Acts 1:8
Establish the Kingdom of God on Earth – Scripture: Revelation 11:1
