Founder and senior pastor at Perfecting Faith Church (PFC) based in Freeport, New York. He served as assistant pastor under Bishop Marvin Winans at Perfecting Church in Detroit, Michigan for over a decade. He was ordained and sent to plant a church in 2001. The church opened its doors with only 200 members. Today the church’s growth has reached over 3,000 members. Pastor McClurkin is a prolific preacher that is committed to spreading The Good News in the Bible globally.

Evangelism and outreach to the lost and hurting is at the heart of the church, which is what PFC operates under the mantra of “Ministry Means People”. Every single member serves the greater body in some capacity. PFC has planted four ministries in the last 12 years in Hempstead, NY; Lakeland, FL; Chester, SC and Harlem, NY.
Pastor McClurkin is the founder and president of The New York Call, which is a coalition of 100 ministries throughout the NY Tri-State area. The New York Call stretches across denominations, race, ethnicity and socio-economic levels focusing purely kingdom building. This annual event draws out over 10,000 people each year. Church without Walls is another annual event held at PFC. This outreach event is held every summer to further connect the church to the community and drive deeper evangelism
In addition, Pastor McClurkin is a world renowned gospel artist with 3 Grammys, 10 Steller Awards and countless others to his notable accomplishments. In 2019, He received the Founders Award for Lifetime Achievement at the NAACP Image Awards for his trailblazing and transformative music and ministry.

About
Associate Pastor at Perfecting Faith Church. She was spiritually born and raised at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle in Jamaica, New York under the late Bishop Roderick R. Caesar. Pastor West served in many capacities over her 30 years of service. Her primary role was that of Director of Youth for Christ and Praise Choir.

Pastor West is a graduate and former instructor of Bethel Bible Institute. She earned degrees in evangelism, ministerial studies, and a Bachelor’s degree in Theology in 2001. Currently, she is working towards her Masters in Ministerial Arts through Southwest Bible College and Seminary.
In addition to her duties as Associate Pastor. Pastor West serves as the department head of the church’s Ministerial Alliance, a school of biblical principles, teaching the ministers in preparation for ministry and she preaches the Word of God when called upon by the Senior Pastor.
